Sirius Petroleum is an Africa-focused oil and gas development, production and exploration company, building a range of diversified producing and development assets.​

Sirius is working in partnership with COPDC its Nigerian joint venture partner which has executed agreements with NPDC, a subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation ("NNPC") to develop the oil rich OML 65 onshore licence.

Phase 1 of the approved work programme focuses initially on the further development of the Abura field, involving the drilling and completion of up to 9 development wells, intended to double current production of 10,000 bopd from Abura's 2P reserves of 16.2 MMbbls1.

OML 65 also contains two further discovered fields, Owepele and Osioka with an estimated 34.9 MMbbls1 additional 2P reserves and two targeted deeper propsects at Abura and Oioka containing an additional 227 MMbblsoil in place, to which the Gaffney Cline Associates June 2021 CPR1 has attributed P50 prospective resources of 91 MMbbls1.

Sirius has a 10% interest in Anglo Tunisian Oil and Gas Limited (“ATOG”), which has a portfolio of interests in Tunisia with 2P/2C reserves of 21 MMboe and is currently producing 1,500 boepd. the ATOG portfolio comprises  comprises five onshore licences in the Ghadames basin, three of which are operated, and two offshore operated licences in the Gulf of Hammamet. ​​​​
